You, and your little cabin in the woods is so inspiring to watch, it gives me such a feeling of calm and I like watching how you live one with nature, no worried about the snow, or the rain or the ELEMENTS of nature. You live with these things. As an American, Canadian by birth we as a society live with far more than we could ever need, why? I'm not sure just what everyone else does. So, we do it too? Your lifestyle has made me think differently about my own, I live in a little house 1200 sq ft, and I'm thinking, its so small. But really? Is it? No, watching you and your lovely cabin you are transforming has helped me open my eyes to the idea that really less is more. Thank you!!!

Hi, just have to mention it. You took out just one fase fuse of the two fase fuses of the loop on the attic. ( DO ALWAYS TAKE OUT BOTH FUSES ! ) The other fase still has voltage in it as if You touch THE OTHER +ANYTHING connected to GROUND ( the sinc for example, or THE GROUNDED WIRE in the loop if the wire has three wires in it...) You will make an electric shock with the scary outcome we don`t want... Other than that, You are just great ! Have a nice trip !
@wildrosie
2 жыл бұрын
Hi! Thanks for the input - In my box, every fuse is connected to it's own group in the house, the bottom row are just more groups and not related to the top row.... Only the water pump has 3 fuses!
@handygotten54
2 жыл бұрын
@@wildrosie Hi, I am sorry if I confused You. In a two-phase cable, there are three cords inside. L, N, and soil that is uninsulated or with green insulation. L and N each have their own fuse. This is because L and N have approx. 120 volts in them and therefore they each have their own fuse. When you connect something between them, it is a total of approx. 240 volts. The earthing cable has no fuse, and is screwed to the chassis in the fuse box, which in turn is earthed to earth spears outdoors, for example.You only unscrewed one fuse from L or N and not both. This caused you to remove about 120 volts from the wall socket in the kitchen. Thus you had 120 volts left in the second cord L, or N. My point is then that when you opened the cover on the plug on the wall in the kitchen, you had 120 volts in that cord in the plug on the wall because you did not unscrew the other fuse in the "group" that goes to the socket on the wall in the kitchen. If, contrary to expectation, you should come into contact with the copper in the cable you did not remove the fuse from and grounded metal frame in the plug or other grounded metal, you will get 120 volts through finger or if you use both hands there, it can go through the heart in a kind of "group" as you call it. I am speaking from personal experience when I was younger and an acquaintance did just that. he made a welding arc on the sink ... I have been working out testing high voltage switches for many years, so I know a little about this. Hope I got to say better what I meant and that you had a nice hike.
