Ingredients:
15 oz Canned Chickpeas
2 Tbsp Tahini paste
2 Tbsp Fresh lemon juice
2 Garlic cloves
Ice cubes
Olive oil
Paprika
1/2 tsp Salt
1 tsp Baking soda
Pita bread
Directions:
Drain the canned chickpeas
Place them in a bowl of warm water with the baking soda
Soak for 5 minutes
Drain & pat the chickpeas dry
Put the chickpeas into a food processor
Pulse for 20 seconds or until it is like a breadcrumb texture
Add Salt, garlic cloves, lemon juice & ice cubes into the processor
Blend it for 3 minutes total
Place in a bowl
Garnish with fresh parsley, papricka and a drizzle of olive oil
Serve with pita bread
