Tysm, it helped me a lot. What i'm trying to do now is when i'm grabbing the ledge, i switch to another sprite, and while on that sprite (climbing sprite), i need to smoothly increase my velV i think, so it gives an impression of climbing the branch in my case. Any ideas on what i should do?

This was a really useful tutorial! I ended up having to customize your implementation a bit to make it work with my project, but it was still a great reference/starting point. One thing that stuck out to me is that I'm not sure if you need to set "ledge_instance = noone" at the start of each Step event. Isn't that going to be set one way or the other by the "instance_place" check later in the same frame anyway? I could be missing something. Either way, thanks for the video, it helped me a lot!
