He forgot about tibealis muscle which is in front of your calf, it is important to train it if you want to maximise calf hypertrophy, and we all know that calves are stubborn bastards, so ignoring the tibealis is not a good idea if you want to pack on as much meat as possible to your calves. Which means: Gastrocnemius/Soleus hypertrophy = plantar flexion with progressive overload Tibealis hypertrophy = dorsi flexion with progressive overload

yes, losing weight or simply staying healthy much depends on what we eat. It doesn't help you sculpt your body though and doesn't also help you maximize muscle develop, and it doesn't also give you great stamina.. if you wish to maximize your physical (and partly mental) attributes then do both, if you're too lazy or too busy to workout then simply eat right, or if you really have a big appetite then sweat it out/ exercise... what is important is that you DO IT!... i started to workout january when i was 94kg.. i never do the extreme stuff. i just go there and exercise. lift enough and sweat out. gradually i change my diet. no rice and just meat and veggy for dinner which took time to appreciate. its november and im 87kg.. hehe.. perhaps i had the slowest weight lose for a constant gym attendee. an average of an hour and a half for 3 times a week. the good thing though is that i look better, (had some muscular form, feel better, i enjoy the gym i enjoy the food that i have been trying to get used too)... and the great thing is that people notice the physical change and are asking what i did.. im hoping i can influence them the habit... my first goal really was let my body get used to it ( workout and food) and enjoy it... im 5'6 , 32 y.o and 87kg and I will enjoy going to my goal of 68kg... (hehe, that's my weight when I was 18 y.o)... enjoy doing yours as well

Classic deadlift work all the back of our legs. Nothing better for ass, harmstrings and calves. Add lunges for quads and adductors (even if these muscles also work on deadlift) and glut ham raise for the sanity of knees and you have a complete legs workout.
