Pretty cool ideas. I think the key word in the regulations is “ unattended.” I’ve often set pots out while fishing but I’ve always been right by. I’m definitely going to use your idea when I toss them out and move on to another spot. Thanks much.

Thanks for the video, looking to catch some crawfish in SW Washington, I have some blaze orange paracord already, do you think that color would scare the crawfish away or should I get some natural color paracord like you used?

I dont think it will bother them. There is a company that makes orange traps and they work fine. It might attract thieves though.

Measuring tape or ruler since they are rarely over 6-7 inches
