Excellent video, Thanks! I just saw Leo in Livermore Calif a couple of weeks ago. He's aging, but still wonderful in concert, both musically and the funny stories! Been going for 30 years, hate to see him leave the stage. See him before he retires if you can!

Glad to see this and hope he's going strong. The first time I saw Leo in concert was in 1972, I believe. Then again about 30 years later.

Yes ,, its Living in the Country alright and Leo (bless him) is in his own world playing for himself as he is by now surely entitled to do .. we are privileged to be allowed to listen in, breathless, soundless, and admire from afar ....

He's one of the few great guitarists that doesn't look like he's showing off all the time. KZitem has rekindled my admiration for this greatest of players.

Learning to play a Kottke song note-for-note takes (for me) months of dedicated practice. Writing a Kottke song is utterly mind-boggling. I simply can't wrap my tiny mind around the scope of this man's genius.

Then you're in luck here, as this is a Pete Seeger composition.

Great show inside. It was snowing and blowing outside the evening of this show. The stories and comments between the songs are illuminating. Sometimes, its the songs between the stories. Either way, always entertaining.

I picked up a copy of "Dreams and All that Stuff" in 1974 just because I liked the cover. Had no idea who Leo Kottke was. Been a fan ever since.

great quality video! It's a pity Leo seems to have forgotten he has lots a fans in Europe since he doesn't perform there anymore. Might be useful for them if he'd concider recording a new DVD....

You have no idea how his mind works the melody, or how he wants to get where he`s going. But still, you can`t resist listening to the journey.

I like his little eyebrow raise after he finishes. He seems to admit to the audience with that gesture, "Yeah, that WAS pretty cool, you're right." I still don't know how you can fingerpick a 12 string like that...

actually "6 & 12 String Guitar" is Leo's best. Recorded back in 1969 when Leo was barely 24 years old.

Don't get me wrong here because Leo Kottke is the worlds greatest 12 string guitar player in my opinion, but I wish he'd go back to playing Martin guitars. Nothing more annoying than the sound of a Taylor guitar to me. They sound like rubber bands stretched across cardboard. Sorry I know I am in a narrow field of people who does not like the sound of a Taylor guitar. I simply did not catch the Taylor fever like so many have. I was born a Martin homey and will die a Martin homey.

A jumbled up noise of notes. It's about time he gave up playing the guitar. An awful racket.
