6 is not as good as 3 in terms of story, but the combat mechanics and chips are your disposals are the most balance in the series, Beast out is really fun and powerful, it does feel like a true trump card, hope you are having a blast. First time going to do pvp.

Content idea: make a tier list for the crosses while also teaching how to use each of them and fight against each of them. That would also include how to folder build to take advantage of each cross and what to include in your folder to try to break certain crosses that could counter your strategy. Could make separate videos and make the tier list its own video.

Something that could have helped you in Game 3 vs Joe: AntiNavi being used on Cut-In vs a Navi Chip will resolve, and then immediately trigger and steal the offending chip you chained it against(also an AntiNavi stolen chip will trigger AntiNavi for hilarity) "This is gonna be a Colonel Force isn't it?" How would he do that, he's clearly playing Falzar, ColForce is a Gregar Giga(one near and dear to my netbattling style)

I'd be interested in seeing a video where you break down a match, and explain why you're tossing or choosing certain chips, and their order, and just general decision making during combat. You do things so quickly that I can't really tell what's going on or what chips you're choosing or why you decide to use them at a certain time. Or why you choose dust or ground or tengu at certain times. As a non competitive player it's hard to keep up with.

Bug Stop and Bug Fix are both staples, so you can pretty much pick which one you like the most. Be aware, though, that while having to draw Bug Fix can be tricky if you're not well-versed into the strategy, Bug Stop gets neutralized when hit by Uninstall, so any bugs by programs _not_ in the command line will start affecting you again. It's a bit of a pick your poison kind of deal, honestly.
@syrelian
Жыл бұрын
BugStop is an option, but be aware that its a phat piece and will be taking away potential power, though less so than if you played "fair" with the grid rules Its also possible to just not run either, and play with a bug layout that favors you, Emotion, Color, Movement, and HP Lv1 are all usually pretty tolerable, as is Buster Bug Lv1 or 2, the Static chip becomes a lot more dangerous the more Bugs you suffer as well, growing in size up to 6 Bugs total(note, HP Bug counts as 2 Bugs for Static because it IS actually 2 Bugs, HP Leak, and then a second bug that aggravates HP Leak every time you flinch)
@syrelian
Жыл бұрын
@@TWLSpark I played for a while but do not recall that interaction with Uninstall at all, though I do remember that BugFix will not remove the positive effects of Buster Bug, but BugStop will negate it entirely

He probably made the folder with a tournament mindset. Double Beast, Falzar, Gregar & GunDelSol EX are typically banned from tournament play due to little or no counterplay for free major damage. Though don't let that stop you from using them outside of tournaments.
@borby4584

@@FamousXeno That's fair. Is Count/HackJack or Django banned for the same reason?
@syrelian
Жыл бұрын
@@borby4584 Count and Django are fine, they're both Mega Chips with normal damage and normal acquisition, Cybeast and DblBeast are technically not undodgable either(Invis works), but the issue is more that their payouts are outsized by a significant margin, DblBeast does 420 damage on a homing attack, and Falzar and Gregar can hit for upwards of 700 depending on RNG for the Rocks/Feathers I've never seen GunDelSolEX banned before but it IS a pretty mean chip that just tears you apart(as a reminder by the way, if you use ANY GunDelSol Chip, make sure Lan is in an Outdoors location when you do PvP, the solar gimmick for double damage remains active)
