The quality of this video is good. Your KZitem settings are most likely set to 240p or 480p, thus giving you bad resolution.

+vazzed No, they're not. I'm pretty sure a company that specializes in technology is not going to make a low quality video. You are most likely using the 1080p setting on a 720p monitor, or another of lower resolution.

Because.... 1. At the time (as well as this exact moment) it's ruling on the high-end. 2. Early on, GSync was in a much better place than FreeSync. 3. Shadowplay is pretty cool.

g sync requires an additional hardware integration from the monitor manufacture witch is really expensive in comparison to freesync witch is software based, and cost basically nothing to integrate

Oh I should clarify that I meant FreeSync is better in that those monitors are cheaper and have more of a selection to pick from for monitors.

They kind of have already. Their panels are found in many, many manufacturers displays with their own enclosure and logic. I think Dell use LG panels for example, as do Asus and Apple.

Sadly this is useless for desktops as many of us are using PCIe graphics cards that want total control of the signal path for themselves, and I haven't seen any sort of external device that can "inject" DisplayPort and USB into a single Type-C connection. Until GPU manufacturers start integrating USB-C or Thunderbolt 3 controllers as an output option or someone else makes the aforementioned alternate-mode injector this is only useful for people with laptops or integrated graphics on a motherboard with a Type-C port.

I think it's too small for 4K. I think that Philips 43" is about right. I got an AOC 25" with 2569*1440, and it seems about as high a PPI I would like to use before things become too small, and I'll have to start adjusting the size of things in the Windows GUI.

Please please I need your help NCIX ... I got exactly the same setup in this video except Dell XPS 13 instead, same monitor display via USB-C .. The issue is monitor keeps going on and off randomly and there is USB-C driver error message (Windows 10 Home)

If it still needs a power connector to drive the monitor, means it is SHIT! The thing about type-c is, JUST ONE CONECTOR for video, audio, usb hub AND power! Looks like it is just too soon to embrace the new standard!

FWIW: The UD68 HAS been known to go on sale. I picked up a pair of them for my wife and I about 3 weeks back for $399. Word to the wise: get an aftermarket stand! The stock stand on the 68 is laughably flimsy.

5ms? is that g2g?, b2b? if its g2g then true latency is 12-15ms, don't you think thats relevant? i purchased an asus ips you reviewed (drooled) over only to find it was 5ms g2g, and calibration showed 13ms latency and micro stutter city in a panel....not good, it went back.

USB Type-C is a plug standard. Not the USB version. You can actually get a USB 1.1 Type-C. So... What you're impressed by is USB 3.1 with a Type-C connector.

It's crap. If you use Windows, you probably had to deal with a system that doesn't work. How do you load USB drivers on safe mode? How do you load USB drivers on an installation disc? So you must have a second monitor to install systems? To recover systems? Bollocks... I'd never have something like that.

Wish it had a mode where you didn't have to use it with power cord and could just use power from USB c and display port 1.3 and a video card with extra power for that... Oh and USB pass through to Daisy chain a USB c keyboard and mouse... No cable management!

Still dont like the single joy stick button, its easier to move through menus but it takes too long to turn off the monitor. I dont want scroll through menus or press and hold for 5+ seconds just to turn it off. Maybe if they added back a dedicated power button, (LG, Samsung)...

27" is so small for the time. My 4K is a 40" and seems small after having for a few months. I would go 40-50", or put a few together if your into that. Just your video card for games won't be at 4K

60hz and 5ms does not a gaming monitor make. freesync is alo pointless if you run 60fps or above, which if you buy a 4K monitor you likely can achieve.

I love the LG ultra fine 5K thunderbolt 3 monitor it works great with my MacBook pro 15 inch, I get full 5k revolutions a 1080p webcam built in 3 usb c ports at the back, built in mics speakers and every thing you pretty much need and it provides the 87w of power required to charge the MacBook pro 15 inch so its a 1 cable solution for everything :)
