I'm transgender, and I go to school dressed differently, all I ever gotten was love from my friends and teachers. To those who are having issues like this, I support you no matter what you choose. If nobody will love you for who you are, someone will. Its your life, you choose how you live it. Just never let anyone bring you down. Be yourself.

this is literally how people act in my high school, it's so sad. I'm super excited to graduate because they say high school is the best time of your life but so far it's been the worst years for me. The number of mean kids out weight the good ones and so its hard to make friends and even then i get bullied by people who i thought were my friends. It's tough, I'm hoping that i can one day find a community of people that love an accept me

Excellent and thought-provoking adaptation of a great story! It's quite layered and complex and I appreciate your having posted it. Not only do I appreciate the understanding and loving embrace Terran's dad gave him to reassure his son of his decision to stay true to himself, but also the conclusion of the story with the girls' and boys' bathrooms at 11:42, showing that accepting gender-fluid people is far from being a reality. One more hurdle to overcome, right?

It is beyond sad that people cannot just let people live their lives. Everyone is given freewill. Everyone should be able to think, feel, or say what they want as long as it is not physically or mentally harming another individual. Anyone who is able to speak their truth and who they are, are the most strongest. They do not live behind closed doors or feel they have to lie to fit it. This short film depicts not only his truth and their truths but their strengths. The strongest will always survive!

Although am not trans, I can relate with the situation of being yourself: well I feel comfortable in Shorts and fitting t-shirts but the African society I live in, as a guy that type of style is a NO NO especially witg my peers who have an issue with that. At first I was totally scared to put on such clothes and had issues with my lifestyle until I realized that I was living for ME, MYSELF and not anybody else, if i had to live then it would be by being ME and that entailed not listening to nobody. I gained courage and I rock shorts like nobody's business and as for the rest I don't give a f***ck. One thing that I have realised is that people are bound to talk no matter what you do and you can't be loved by everyone. You should face your insecurities and keep this in mind, 'people are so busy with their lives to focus on you @' #BE YOURSELF
@scenariosusa

Hey Jack, it’s great that you found the courage to where shorts and I really appreciate you voicing support for Terran, even though you're not trans. Although it may be a big leap to go from admitting you are trapped in the wrong body to deciding to where shorts, the idea that you can respect and accept people who don't fit in to their "traditional" roles in school, your neighborhood or society is a good place to start. Thanks so much!
