What remarkable speed and dexterity on this selection. Just fabulous! And even some amusing dancing skeletons to go along with it. Great trick camera shots for the time.

Not only was Liberace born into a musical family (both his parents and his siblings were accomplished musicians in their own right) but he demonstrated perfect pitch and photographic memory at a young age (I think he began playing at age 3). Notice that he never uses sheet music. Even musicians who have played the same song over and over use sheet music. He didn't. That's because he had the rare ability to play a piece after hearing it once.

there was a concert in which he did have sheet music and he perfectly turned the page without a pause or a mistake. Late 70s, early 80s.
