I've loved Liberace since he first appeared on TV in the early "50's" and I was between the age of 12-13, and I consider him the "Ultimate Entertainer" of the 20th century because for one he played all types of music and remembered any request that was thrown at him. I also feel if he had decided to be strictly a concert pianist he would have been the greatest at that also. Yes at nearly 80 I still love and surely miss this man...there will never be another like him; at least not in my lifetime!!!

Such a masculine example of the male sex. His rivals shy away in fear as lesser gorillas bow before the Silverback. I dare say that every woman wanted to be with him, and every man hoped to be him. Few know that he once killed a mugger with his bare hands.

@chadwickst.clair-smythe4217

@@lylux4985 I do believe it was 1969 during Lee's time as an operative for the DIA. He had returned from Europe on one of his many tours, though this one had a side visit to Helsinki. In that day Helsinki was still a very grey and bleak place thanks to the austerity of post-War Finland's recovery. And as common as the uniform blocks of concrete flats were spies from all points of the compass. A deadly rendezvous later, and Lee returned into the US and was in possession of information that could have altered the balance of power. There, on the streets of Las Vegas, the unfortunate petty thief chose a most regretful time to accost dear Lee. When presented with the choice of taking a man's life, or protecting the nation, Liberace knew his duty and knew it well.
