since we are now getting updated paleo documentaries recently, I would love to see an updated animated movie, series, or short about prehistoric creatures that talk and have personalities like Land Before Time and Ice Age. for those who think that might sound ridiculous I highly recommend watching a video by The Doodling Dino where he redesigns Arlo from The Good Dinosaur as an Alamosaurus since Apatosaurus was not around during the Maastrichtian. in the video he gives him more sauropod like limb proportions as well as osteoderms while retaining the cartoonish look.

@ChrisVillagomez

@@TheDinoFax I didn't know that actually, that's really cool! There are a couple videos from Trey the Explainer and North 02 that go into the monstrous-seeming animals that our distant ancestors evolved around like bears, big cats, crocodilians, and other post-Cretaceous mass extinction megafauna. To me, ancient animals like dinosaurs, pterosaurs, and early mammals are just as cool to think of as those animals our ancestors would have encountered. When the Elves leave Middle-Earth in Lord of the Rings, I feel a kind of sadness knowing that they and their magic will fade or go into the West and leave Earth forever. For extinct animals, there's the same kind of lingering sadness but moreso because I can never see those animals in-person, only what remains and our interpretations of it. At least with most of the Ice Age megafauna, there are still relatives alive today that could be used to create extremely similar species like Mammoths, Dodo Birds, and Moa Birds. For dinosaurs and the like though, I very highly doubt ANYTHING will be brought back that is similar like Mammoth clones. Maybe some birds could be bred into a kind of small raptor or other small dinosaurs like Compies, or (hopefully) even breeding Ratites into even more dinosaur-looking birds, but anything bigger might be impossible honestly, there just isn't enough DNA or in the majority of cases, there aren't even any descendants left at all to breed a similar animal in the first place. Absolutely love your videos 👍👍
