we were there on the july 26 storm when the barker left two harbors, tree few feet from landing on the rv, not a good way to end a birthday LOL!

Having grown on the South side of Chicago, many a time when my family was headed either to Michigan City, Indiana or Saugatuck, Michigan, we went by Indiana Harbor. There were times the smoke coming out of the steel mill made it look foggy. Thank you Paul for posting that article, it brought back some great memories.

Cool... I was driving down the beach at Hatteras Island....Bolt went right into my antenna...Melted all the wiring in my truck...Antenna just exploded ...

Another good video with the storm and all but that brings up a thought, in bad storms do ships ever get struck by lightening?
