Got to be honest although that is possibly the best Ive seen to date for a beginner with a big fat B,i'm still a bit lost, however I will get there by asking totally biff questions, the first being...... are these images RAW images and can you only work with RAW images, with jpegs are you pretty much stuck with what comes out of the camera? Sorry for the biff Q,and tnx in advance for any answer.

I've noticed that when viewing a photo for the first time in Lightroom it looks "plain" (the RAW image) until it has finished loading, and then Lightroom applies some minor tweaks. usually they're pleasing, but I'm curious as to whether this can be turned off so that I am only seeing the plain RAW image.
@clearlyed
6 жыл бұрын
Actually it’s the other way. It shows you an embedded preview which is a jpeg (even if your not shooting jpeg). When it fully loads this is the actual RAW file and Lightroom has added nothing to it. I hope this helps.

Does anyone else feel the composition of the video is a bit too distracting with all the studio lights in the background? Feels like it's detracting from the subject of the video. I mean, do I need to see all those lights, your computer with all it's reflections and details when what's really important in the video is the speaker and what he has to say. Perhaps you can start the video with your current wide shot to set the stage and then cut in close for the meat of the video.

No, you didn't. It was extremely well done. Go play kiddie director at the kids table and stop being a tosser. If you're distracted , you have bad ADD. There are plenty of videos about ADD and OCD and clearly you're spending too much time in the wrong category. Actually, not really. While it's definitely true that you can edit and adjust an image in Photoshop as well, you cannot edit an actual camera-taken photo to a high level as in Lightroom. Plus the actual interface of Photoshop is definitely not easy to use for photo and image adjustments as much as actual editing. I'm saying my opinion rn, and i believe that even tho' you can manage most of the things that Lightroom can offer with Photoshop it's definitely more time consuming and less effective on actual Camera-Taken & professional photos cause of its lack of some specific image settings. ^^

@odinofficial6646
5 жыл бұрын
Well its quite obvious i think. Photoshop is for image editing and manipulation as i like to call it, you can photoshop your cat being an astronaut if you wish, whilst Lightroom is specifically for photo adjustment and improvement. For a more brief answer Lightroom is a tool to make your photos more good looking by adjusting them to the better looking settings possible, while Photoshop is clearly a tool for image editing and madness, however photoshop does NOT give you the freedom to adjust and edit an image so amazingly . Hope i gave u a small idea.
