Thank you to Alfy from Life is Like Sailing for recommending your video. I think we are both bowled over by what beautiful cruising grounds you have. So incredibly lovely, and I dig all the foraging you all did…both from land and water. We’ve been contemplating getting a crab pot aboard but, after seeing those prawns, I think that’s the way to go. And, of course, la la love your dog. So cute! Thanks for such an enjoyable video and we’re looking forward to checking out more. -Monique (and Drake!)

Saw a link to you this morning and decided to take a look. You just passed 1000 subs! I’m loving seeing your progress and content. I started watching backwards, then jumped to your beginning. Seems the PNW is really rainy and cold! We are US Great Lakes sailers, mostly Lake Michigan. Right now our boats are on the hard for the winter. I’m 68 yrs old and often wonder how do 30 somethings like you pull this off? And you may wonder how do we pull this off? The 60’s are the new 40s, I downhill ski in the winter. And I have passive income. I don’t mean to be over personal but when I was your age I was just trying to buy diapers and pay the mortgage. And of course, there is some of it. Just wondering, what’s your income source ?

Hey Dan, Thanks for watching It's not super cold here compared to the rest of the country, but it's def wet and windy! We are in the middle of a 30+ knot storm right now that's supposed to build quite a bit in the next few hours. As for our income, Logan has been a heavy duty mechanic up until a year ago when an injury made it impossible to do that job any longer and I'm a photographer. We also made some lucky real estate investment choices over the past 10 years that have paid off in the past two years and allowed us to change our lifestyle relatively comfortably. We are also both minimalists with no plans to have kids, so those two things greatly cut down on our spending, along with both of us enjoying fixing older things. It has been a lot of luck and intentional planning/ saving that has gotten us to this point.

Great video and you guys have a wonderful attitude! The "old growth" you were walking in isn't. Just saying.

Thanks for watching! Do you have any info or resources about the logging in that area? It was probably second growth but felt a lot like an old growth forest with how it has developed. Pretty amazing spot either way
