OK this is a wonderful live version. They do the original justice. And since i'm getting a comment in you might see, for the 100th time, lol, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do Shabadu Ma Ma Ma Ma by Steve Miller. The original version from his first big album "The Joker". I promise you stank face for so long it might stick that way forever4. A funky bass line that will break your neck it swings so hard. Please. Believe a stranger. Hey, jamel, check this band out, I know you have done a reaction to other songs, from this band this us early Moody Blues and this song is the first song on this Album. This song is called: In The Beginning. When I first heard that opening, I didn't at first listen to the rest of the album I just started the first song, over and over and over again. I was 13 or 14 at the time. Then after I got what I needed for that first intro I went on to the rest of the album. All I am gonna say it get ready, long intro, and long outro, the words will make you think. Get ready for.........hmm you'll find out. kzitem.info/news/bejne/1quErYqusGVkp3Y

One Artist for you to React to: TOMMY BOLIN. (Tommy, sadly passed away in 1976, at the Very Early Age of 25. Just as he was on the verge of becoming Big. Stupidly, He OD'ed!! :( :( I was 17, he was My 1st Guitar Hero, and My Entire World was Rocked Hard for A Long While. Check Out: My Favorite: "Wild Dogs" and "Dreamer" both off of his 1st solo CD "Teaser". Also, "Post Toastee" from his 2nd/last solo album: "Private Eyes". IF you are Into/Like Great Dynamics, then "Dreamer" is a song for you. From sparse, mellow and pretty to Rocking Out in a beat. Then-Boom- Right back to sweet and mellow. On "Post Toastee" Everyone in the band gets to Show Off A Little! :) I would suggest the studio versions/audio of all 3.

I never understood why he didn't get more credit myself. I just figured it was due to Loggins blowing up so big in the 80's. Still doesn't explain how it's still happening with the Internet giving access to so much. I mean he was with Buffalo Springfield which should have given him guitar cred. Then again a lot of guys who I think deserve it never get spoken of these days. Mike Bloomfield for instance. I know he died young but come on. He should be spoken of with the likes of Hendrix and SRV.

I had been a Dr. D fan for years before that. The first time I saw Al was at the California State Fair in Sacramento (1985?), he was the opening act for The Monkeys. Well, time goes on. So glad to see you do this one. Again though, there's not a single example of a bad Loggins & Messina tune. Every song is different, but every one is a musical masterpiece and fit the lyrics perfectly.

Glad you heard this. The studio version is even better, I think, but what a live band! Messina has a great staccato picking style, but his arrangements are always superb and keep the interest up. Try "Be Free" next if you liked "Angry Eyes." Messina knew how long you could let a soloist go before it was time to move on, and that's in his writing and arranging. What an amazing talent he is! Great producer, too.

Good work Jamel! You've opened another can of whoop ass with Loggins and Messina. Stay the course. You might try Vahevala, live next. But its pretty hard to make a bad call with these two. I have another incredible live performance for you by another assembly that is going to blow you away. Is there a email to which I can send to you a link?
