In this episode, we're exploring the time and pitch fun which can be had when applying the Flex Speed (FX) option to a gritty percussion loop.
The Flex Speed (FX) mode introduces Varispeed-style control to a loop, stretching longer sections to become slower and lower in pitch, whilst shorter ones get higher and faster. Using Logic's Transient 'pins', we can either affect single transients or create stretches which have implications for a number of pins at once. We'll also see what happens when we change Tempo and then add a Delay effect which picks up pitched overtones. A whole track from a percussion loop? Well, actually, yes!
