Thanks for this flip through! I got a world history curriculum that isn't going to work so this is helpful.

I would love to see a video comparison between master books and gather round based on the information received for history.

I have seen this and used their World History 1 but didn’t like it because it was so dry. For my other son I might consider doing it next year. He too also has ADHD and dyslexia. Looking forward to your updates on this one.

Thank you for this. My son has ADHD, dyslexia and dysgraphia so this looks perfect for him. I'm really considering the new World History from Generations because I love the concept of showing Biblical history and Jesus alongside the history topics covered in typical history books. Does this curriculum do that? Generations looks amazing but overwhelming for what my son can handle.

I know there are some chapters that cover things that are in the Bible. Definitely check out the sample pages on the Masterbooks website. I almost got Generations, but it was a little more than I wanted to pay.

Update? Wondering how it’s going. Your son sounds similar to mine and I’ve enjoyed watching your videos over the years. What we picked for history this year isn’t working that great. I’m looking to switch and I think this would meet his needs better than our current picks.

We actually haven’t started yet. My son wanted to do the Middle Ages unit from Gather Round first. What are you using for history?

@@HomeSweetHomeschoolLife I thought I would try history Odessey from pandia press, but when I got it I could tell it was too overwhelming. So I switched to build your library. Which is okay. But the flow of the master books worked when my son did the life science book a couple of years ago. It allowed him to be both independent and accountable.
