aaaah this is a really pleasant surprise!! as a big lorde fan myself I was with high expectations for this album and it didn't let me down. at first listen I already knew that it'd grow on me, and grown it did. It feels so good to have a artist out there being so open and innovating herself, Lorde is always ahead of our time lol. You'd definitely listen to melodrama, it's a masterpiece!! great reaction

i've heard some great comments from other reactors of how fans have described this album - both that Lordes albums are night, midnight and dawn (Pure Heroin, Melodrama and Solar Power), as well as that fans wanted something Dark like Melodrama and weren't ready for the bright light. Think you'd like Pure Heroine and Melodrama, the latter especially. Really love some of your lyrical insight to this this - all goes a bit over my head until someone points it out xD I do love all these artists coming out saying they want to run away from LA/California. California, Fallen Fruit and Mood Ring are my favourites I think - took me a few listens to really get into. Fallen Fruit giving me some of the vibes that were on Aly and Aj's album imho!

You SHOULD listen to pure heroine and then melodrama. Melodrama is MANY people’s all time favorite album. Its much darker and heavier production than solar power but its a too tier breakup album that explores the highs and lows of being a young adult, especially in the context of partying. I have never been a partier and it still hits hard to listen to.

The fallen Fruit talks about how the older generation left us with this fuqed up world and that reversing truck beeping sounds like a bulldozer like demolishing things. Secrets From a girl, shes talking about her younger self here like shes gonna be okay in the future despite of all whats gon happen to her Big star is about her dog Pearl who died The pattern of Oceanic Feeling talks about her past, her present, and her future also when u said "is that a spaceship" i think its a those singing bowl in high frequency thing literally the last track feels like a medidation song sksks

Since you're not familiar with her previous work, many who don't like her new album are just missing that heavy bass sound, artists evolve, there's more to music than an 808 drum machine. And the 2 bonus tracks not being on the regular release is just criminal, It would have made a stronger project.
