its fuckin hard and it would never be anything the same. its where equipment and mind become one. even if one jad the same equipment, the nuances arent recreatable. however you can pay homage by using similar techniques in your own music. the mf is just special in that way. he has a way of making electronic music have a life. the songs breathe if you listen closely. that alone is incredibly hard to do. usually comes out to robotic but he has the perfekt formula. tends to go under appreciated atleast right now. haha dudes a low key genius.

A buddy of mine came to love Lorn when I shared the Anvil album with him. When I heard this song, I immediately thought of sharing it with him. This was during the pandemic, and I hadn't seen him for a year at that point. I kept slacking on sending it to him, even though I thought of him every time I heard it. He died of an overdose in January 2021 without me ever making the effort to send it. I think of him every time I listen to this song and realize that in the moment you think you should contact someone, just do it. Don't hesitate, your people need you.

Love the style of Lorn. "Beats to study and relax to" with an underpinning of melancholy or disassociation with reality. Comes off euphoric, peaceful in a way, almost reflecting that little bit of sadness we might be going through. Love the minimalist approach to this type of music. Less can be a whole lot more when it captures the vibe and hits correctly for the individual.

I would describe it that way; It put me in my bubble , in that particular place between beauty and sadness , In contemplation of the absolute and almost cold lonelyness we all have inside somewhere in our soul, in the perspective that you are the only one being yourself and experiencing your life from your unique point of view. A view nobody have seen , see or will see. The reality you experience in this short moment in the universe that will never be felt by no one else other than yourself. As such is the gift and the curse of life , the path we walk alone despite possibly being surrounded by so many in our lives. It doesnt scare me away , but it makes the separation between myself and the world come out to the surface. Humbling and forcing apart, along the way.
