Like someone else commented, at one time all of these were brand new when the first owner proudly took possession of them. Beyond that, they all have a long history. People that are now in their 60s or 70s have memories of that car being part of their childhood. Trips to the beach, going out for ice cream with the family. Some people met their spouse in those cars, drove them in high school. People love their cars and at one time, all of these were an important part of people's lives creating fond memories and, no doubt, a few tragic memories. People worked in the trucks for years, it was their business that supported their family. Every last one has a long story behind it. Some are good, a few are bad but they all have a history.

And every one of these, at one time, was gleaming and shiny and fresh at a car dealership, when the first owner proudly took possession of it.

That's how I like finding cars for competition. Forgotten and abandoned and half buried in creek gravel or a field. To far gone for restoration but can still used for Derby competition. Good cars I don't use but un- restorable cars I part out and use the empty hull for a demolition derby car.

One of the most saddest videos I've ever seen:-( Mother earth was even eating some of em! Wish I could have my pick of just one of those cars!

So glad i don't ever want to own any or work on some old relic cars. Burn them or bury them all to clean up the landscape! Less carbon & pollution just to let 'em under ground, like a grave.
