Louis is so articulate and always very present when in conversation, always interesting to listen to

Louis is arguably the best and most iconic English documentary film maker working today. He's only second to David Attenborough because Attenborough's virtually twice his age. He has captured so many remarkable moments in his documentaries. Also he can hold a conversation with someone in any situation. He's probably the only journalist in recent history who has interviewed someone while having liposuction, receiving a sensual massage and during a gym session.

Liam Sweeney he is heavily involved in the making of them though. He writes and does all the voiceovers. He’s been a producer on most of them. He has almost full creative control during the editing process. And most of all, through interacting with his contributors and getting involved, he’s producing all the content for these documentaries.

Adam Curtis & Nick Broomfield are the equal of Louis, their documentaries are very different in style, Louis is all about his personal interactions with the people he is documenting and he is very good at breaking through somebody's outer veneer. Broomfield I like because he's a little sneaky at the way he gets his video, he'll often use video that was filmed on the way to interview somebody or even when somebody thinks the camera or mic is off, the he turns up at somebodies door with the camera already recording gives the impression you're part of the investigatory process and nothing is false. Cutis is all about one man's interpretation of the false reality we've all been fed and he does it with a mesmerising style that changes your viewpoint. Best thing about Louis is he is busy, makes lots of content, hope he continues!

Louis is a real journalist. In an age where we have nothing but biased journalism. He always see's past agendas and pc bs and gets to the heart of the matter. Would love to see him do a film on Wikileaks and whistleblowers.

Absolutely love Louis and his documentaries. I've found my wife and I have become completely addicted to them! You throw one on and the next thing you know, 8 hours have passed, you've missed all your main meals and it's beginning to get dark outside

Yeah, I just had to check how old Louis is when the interviewer said "you are going to be 40 this year" I knew it had to be quite old then as I am 10 this year and was sure Louis is quite a lot older than myself.

Amazing that when asked how he got into TV, although he admitted his friends invited him in, somehow forgot to mention the extremely famous and rich father, Westminster school (same time as Nick Clegg), Magdalen college Oxford etc. Other than that he was just a directionless character who went to school in south london.....
