Norwegian Lake Lovatnet is exactly the place where you always want to return and admire the panorama of the mountains and its turquoise color of water.
But from our experience, the best time to visit it is the end of August. After all, in August, there are not so many tourists, the rivers and lakes are as blue as possible, and the glaciers have definitely opened up from their blankets of snow.
We invite you to take a walk along Lake Lovatnet with us and enjoy the atmosphere of peace and tranquility!
And also visit two very popular glaciers located on its shores, the Kjenndalsbreen Glacier and the Bødalsbreen Glacier.
Both glaciers are arms of the Jostedalsbreen glacier, the largest in continental Europe. The trails leading up to them are well-marked and suitable for any level of physical fitness!
We have been to Lovatnet many times, but we are sure we will return there in the new season! After all, the lake is really beautiful and you can’t get tired of it!
Thank you very much for traveling with Us! Feel free to ask your questions and write your wishes in the comments, we are always pleased to read them! ;)
