My mind is blown right now. I didn’t know other people had the same nose as me… Anyway, when I was 14 an Aflelou optician in Paris told me that I should never try to get any other glasses but those that have nose pads because of the way my nose bridge was. Let me tell you, this man saved my life. You figured it out! Just buy glasses that have pads, you can even move them if you want (far from the glasses or close for comfort and rotate them-be careful to be gentle not to break them). They’re the best for people like us (I guess), now that I am aware there are others like me 😅

Thank you so much for this video! Very informative and insightful! Your sharing of your experience trying to find the perfect fit has given me some tips as to what to look for as I also have a low nose bridge. Thank you so much! And your genuineness is refreshing!

Great video. Look into the TC Charton line, great option as well! And I would definitely recommend taking your plastic frame to an optical, they should be able to adjust them more comfortably for you. There's other ways to make them more snug without having to bend the temple end so much 😁

I wish I watched this before buying glasses. I’m half Filipino so my face looks big in the front, but from the side I have a very flat face with a small, low nose bridge and a small nose. I’m prone to glasses falling off my face... especially sunglasses, I feel like I wear them more as a headband than on my face.

I prefer using hot water. If your water from the tap is hot enough, you can just run the arms under the water for a while. If it's not hot enough you can get a cup or bowl that's deep enough to submerge the arm into, and heat the water in the microwave or on the stove. You don't want the water too hot though. Boiling is too hot. Regardless of the method you use, you want to keep the heat way from the lenses, because it could damage them.

The term Asian is really confusing especially in America. As an Indian, I got confused if I need asian fit, bit good old aviators or any Caucasian frames fit me just fine.

cute. Zenni has something they call "universal bridge fit". Warby Parker currently has about 16 different low bridge frames, and they have their free at-home try on kit. Other places may have something similar.

Hi, I'm so sorry for replying 2 years later... but, I actually didn't have those glasses nose pads adjusted by anyone. I would recommend going to your optometrist or the store so that they can adjust them to properly suit your nose bridge. My nose is quite flat so I was surprised that I didn't have to have those nose pads adjusted! (Sorry for the latest reply ever - I'm finally getting around to the comments on this video!)

As for the way your ears are adjusted, when you hold your glasses they look like they're bowed out. You might need wider glasses if that bowing outward is caused by them being too narrow and your head pushing them out.

I feel like the glasses I have now don't fit me cause my nose bridge is so low and I just got glasses that don't suit my nose bridge so every time I do a facial expressions the eye pads of the glasses press into my nose which leaves a red mark on the side of the where the eye pads were.

I have the same problem with my current pair of sunglasses - I find that the nose pads leave a red mark on my nose! I think that it may be because the nose pads aren't adjusted properly and are too tight. Maybe you could see if you could have your nose pads adjusted?
