I just made this today (using store bought lotus paste because I was lazy 😅) and it turned out perfect!! Great snowskin recipe! I will be using this every year 😌

You may try replacing with 8 g rice flour + 7 g glutinous rice flour.

Hi.. I tried your recipe, it turned out very good.. However after few days, the skin cracked, I had same problem with other recipes.. Any reason of the skin crack?

For storage: Put snow skin mooncakes in container and freeze, thaw in refrigerator before serving. I usually finish within 5-6 days. If you chill it, it will start to harden the next day, and completely hard the on 3rd day.

Hi...I have made some fresh Golden Syrup...1) Can I use it immediately to make mooncake or have to wait for certain period before using 2) Shall I store the Ready Made Syrup in a place of Room Temperature or shall I put into the Fridge?...Thank you

You can use it when it has completely cooled. Store at room temperature.

Icing sugar is easier to dissolve. If using white sugar, add to milk and stir until dissolved.

If you use only glutinous rice flour, the texture will be too chewy and the pattern printed will not be clear.

For storage: Put snow skin mooncakes in airtight container and freeze immediately, thaw in refrigerator before serving. I usually finish within 5-6 days. If you chill until the next day then only you freeze them, it won't help, it will still harden.
