Three inches above the floor Man in a box wants to burn my soul And I'm tired, and I'm tired. Is that the truth he says The pain is easy Too many words, too many words And I can hear 'em If you're hearing screams Come back child, come back My hands are dry But I know they're gonna make it Just one more night Too many words, too many words___♫

Depression is sitting in your bed at night, wondering why you can't sleep. Why do i feel like such shit when i have no reason to. I was happier earlier today, why can't i feel what my friends feel. When you feel insane because suddenly nothing interests you anymore.. Your motivation goes.. and you know you could be a better person.. if you could just pull yourself out of the hole.

Well, the dark reaches of each persons individuality can be a very nice place to rest and gain strength. Just like when you go to a quiet, safe place and sleep. Music with a melancholy edge, a sad edge can be very soothing especially on your own. There are endless reasons to why someone might like it, I think my main reason for liking this music type is the rationale that I am not alone in my loneliness, it restores a sense of innocence if I was to go further.

depression is often a side of shit not working out and feeling like you have no purpose in this world, and wanting to die everyday feeling like everything is just shit, shit piled on shit and so on, growing up and not ready to move on from what you lost or better yet not wanting to move on in general..stuck in a time of your life that you wish you could go back to and repeat over and over, a time where things were so simple, a time where you had everyone you loved and now all of that is gone.

Joy and sorrow are inseparable. Emotions are just that, they are all of the same, and either we are driven to feel by music or certain music drives us to feel a specific emotion. Whether we want to accept it or not, what you are listening to right now is not much different to the beautiful brooding sound of the viola or oboe. Or urban street rap for that matter. It's all felt with the heart and we can co-exist with our personal preferences, providing we are peacefully navigating.
