Almost all of our thoughts on this are the same. I have been wondering why the pods are lag bolted on when I see the lowe with the welds. I also am concerned about rough water as the main waterway system Im on currently is the St Lawrence River/Lake Ontario.

I'm still waiting on my trolling motor, but hopefully I'll have mine in the water before you do, since you don't even have your boat yet. I'm not sure what takes longer, building a trolling motor or building a boat. Lol.

@@hulkhuggett What TM did you go with? It looks like some are in stock online but I could be wrong. Ive heard about delays, but when I seen in stock I thought it would be ok.

@@darkbikelife4270 ok, there are motors in stock, but not with everything I want in one option. If I don't get ripped off, I have a Ghost on order. 60" shaft. I've heard a 52" would maybe work on the predator, but the 60 will stay in the water better when it cavitates. Spot lock is a must have for me. And I would prefer for my electronics to communicate. I'm a Lowrance guy. I had the xi5 on my last boat and I absolutely loved it. I could not find a 24v with 60" or 72" anywhere; they're on national backorder (whatever that means).

@@darkbikelife4270 Do you have a delivery date for your boat yet? My Ghost trolling motor finally came in. I have everything for my boat. It's all sitting and looking at me, home from work due to the ice storm, and can't do sh*t with any of it 'cus everything is frozen. It's like being tortured. Lol.

@@hulkhuggett Thats funny. We are always buried in snow where I am. Boat should be here anytime. It was “loaded” like a week or 2 ago but haven’t heard anything. It wont be usable until sometime in March anyway due to the snow/ice in upstate NY. I got out of the fishing game for a few years and when I did I sold all my stuff so now I have to restock. Just dropped 4k at tackle warehouse this morning lol. I look forward to seeing your boat on the water. Also interested in your SS prop vs the aluminum that my dealer recommended for lower unit protection.

Sorry, just saw your message. I'm planning on doing a year review. And I'll try and get some more footage of it on the water. I don't do KZitem for a living. Lol.

Can you show us the battery compartment area and how many batteries fit in there?
@hulkhuggett

Yeah I'll try to get that. I'm planning on doing an update on the boat after owning it for almost a year. But, it will hold at least 4 batteries. I'm only using 3.

how well does it handle chop?
@hulkhuggett

It actually handles it pretty good. BUT, it will beat the shit out of you in chop. I don't go out of the wind is over 15 in any boat. It actually rides better in a SMALL amount of chop than it does on calm water. 🤷
