I just got it this year I think it is a very good boat

Got mine on Saturday.. so far I like it. I'm still in break in on my 115 but it was pushing 28mph at 3k rpm with no trim.. the white looks nice but it really shows all the weld shrinkage on the hull.. the floor seems fucked up in the main cockpit. It's higher in the middle where the rear drain is and lower on the sides. There was also about 20 pieces of welding rod in the bottom of the boat which I thought was pretty hacky. None of the access panels are deburred so I've been tearing my arms up pretty bad rigging my electronics. I put 2 grp27 batteries under the console front seat for my trolling motor and ran 6ga wire to the front. Then I added a grp24 battery in a box under the console for my graph. I haven't had it out yet since installing the batteries but I hope the extra weight in the middle helps bring the bow down. Once we get in the 80's this summer I'll temp the deck and let you know how the white/gray does.

Man, I was wondering if you got that thing yet. Sorry for the delayed response. It doesn't let me know when I have messages, I have to log in to a different app to see them. I really don't understand all the quality control issues with these things. I had tape they painted over, they didn't give me my 2 back cleats, the floor pops up in places, 2 of the floor plugs came out and I almost threw them away before I realized what they were. I gorilla glued them back in. My live well leaks from somewhere if it gets too full, I haven't found the leak. But it'll fill up my back hatch if I don't watch it. That's just some of the issues. However, it's still a good boat for the class it's in. If I was willing to spend more money, I'd probably get an Excel, or an Avid. My seats are ripping also. I haven't temped my boat since it's gotten hotter, but I uploaded a video when it was in the 80°s. My decks were at 145°. I put in some foam flooring today I found on sale at Northern Tool. I noticed my usual cruising speed is usually between 30-35 mph without pushing it. I've gotten it up to 48.8 mph. Are you able to trim? Congrats on the boat, btw!

@@hulkhuggett I've uploaded 2 quick videos so far. The livewell overflow drains into the hull. I learned that the hard way last Saturday while night fishing.. makes the "auto aerator' function basically worthless. I still haven't topped it out. Actually we went out on Friday and didn't even use the motor. Our fish are all in a spawning pattern right now so we've just been trolling the shallow water. I went with a force kraken 63 and I have plenty of shaft length so that was good advise.. Also I got a quote from Aquatraction for doing both castings decks and the main cockpit. For charcoal over light gray with their topo pattern was gonna be $4k.. little to rich for something I'm still convinced won't hold up to my dogs so I'm still researching alternatives.. I need to get something on the deck though so they can come out on the hot summer days

I got it on Amazon. It came off of my last boat. One thing that is really deceiving is the beam on the Predator. It is advertised as an 8' beam (96") but it is ONLY 96" in the very back (corner to corner). I had to squeeze it in to get it to fit. Luckily, it worked. The sides aren't as high as advertised either (in 2023). The sides actually worked out better for me tho, 'cus I can easily lean over with my knees and take a leak. Also, as your thinking about where you want to put a Bimini, the beam gradually gets narrower the further forward you go. Hope that helps.

@@hulkhuggett 2070cc in white.. I went with the 115 but I'm starting to think I might change to the 150.. it's a 3 month wait so I have nothing but time to second guess my decision. I only fish small lakes and rivers in northern Minnesota so I thought the 115 would be fine and help the boat sit more level in the water. I didn't get pods so I was looking for a bit less weight in the back. If I could comfortable cruise at 30-35ish I'd be happy but there's almost no info out there on this boat
@hulkhuggett

@@alexlaurent2967 I really like my 150, but I honestly can't say it's a must. It's almost too powerful for the boat. If you're going to spend the extra money, I'd highly recommend getting the pods. Also, do NOT waste your money on the galvanized trailer, it's the exact same trailer as the black one, and they are both pieces of complete dog SHIT! My absolute biggest complaint is the trailer. I know another guy who has the same boat (sc) and both of us broke our load guides the first time we took it out. We've both upgraded to after market ones from Amazon. However, if you don't go with the pods you can get auto trim Tabs. The boat porpoises really bad if you try and trim it at all. The pods are in the way of putting tabs on it. The "trim Tabs" it comes with are just 2 tiny little rectangles welded to the back. I honestly don't think they do anything. They're literally like 1"x2" wide. Did you get a trolling motor? It takes the longer shafts, just fyi. There was no info on that when I was trying to outfit mine. Good choice on the white. That is sharp looking!

@@hulkhuggett thanks for the info.. yeah lund trailers are shit. It's actually pretty sad that the tracker trailer makes the Lund trailer look embarrassing. I did go with the black. I haven't ordered a trolling motor yet but I'm going with a Garmin force. It comes in a 50" or 57" but I've read garmin measures their trolling motors different than minnkota so I've been waiting until I get the boat to order any accessories.. I'm also floating the idea of a fishmasters t-top to give me a little shade in the summer sun. It's going to look really out of place where I live but I think for the type of multispecies fishing I do it should really work nice.
