Wow! That is impressive! Did you mean S3 though? Description says A3. I would still like to get your kit for my 2016 R. Maybe I'll be able to afford it next year. Someday I would like you guys to swap in the new Audi straight 5 aluminum block from the RS3. #aBoyCanDream

Faster in top speed you mean? The engines in the S and R have stronger internals and a better head if I'm not mistaken. Therefore they should be capable of more power. I'm going to have to see some proof on that comment cause my bullshit detector is going off pretty hard right now. How is longer gearing better for turbo engines? It puts more stress on an already small, high strung engine. Shorter gears = less stress. Think about your knees riding uphill on a bike... shorter gearing, or a lower gear would be better for reducing stress on your joints. #theMoreYouKnow

Kevin Hannon no I mean each gear being longer will force higher load numbers which the higher power you go the faster it becomes. Look at actually fast drag cars, 2 speed powerglide is the best setup. For anyone over 400 whp the slightly longer gearing of the a3/gti transmission is advantageous. Look up is38 gti vs golf r with same mods, the gti will run away up top, partly due to weight but also longer gearing.
