They have that sound quality that you hear in the early disney films. I love this sound and wish we could have more of it on the radio. It saddened me when the Des Carrington show was taken off on a Sunday and moved to a one hour slot on a Tuesday evening. Now you have to listen to the Alan Titchmarsh show to hear anything like this. 'Count your blessings' is my favourite. I've just ordered the CD off Amazon... Thanks for posting these songs.

I didn't realise that there quite a number of Luton Girls' Choir recordings on You Tube. A lovely recording. Thank you.

@aeolianhrp1 I wondered about this myself. I think Alan Davis? must have composed all the arrangements as well as conducted the choir. Presumably, when the Luton Girls Choir disbanded in 1971 it may have been due to the passing or retirement of the Director. It certainly wouldn't have been due to lack of interest. Beautiful even now. KZitem is a wonderful thing!

@aeolianhrp1 charade97 is 100% right. Their name was the Luton Girls Choir, not Luton Girls Group. Group is a sloppy word and can mean anything. They were English and their English name was Luton Girls Choir.
