George Lynch is in my top 20 fav guitarists! That dude can make his axe squeal and moan with tonal delight, it's some serious ear candy!!

@@Dave_Wight_The_Rock_Oracle Does bring up an interesting question to ponder. Ever sit back and wonder how we would regard Hendrix, Rhoads, etc. if they were still alive and kept playing? Everyone reveres Jimmy Page and David Gilmour, but you never hear anyone debate them being better than Hendrix. Does that make Hendrix better? Or just revered, put on a pedestal, because we lost him early, and we deified him. If Rhoads was still around, all these years later, would he still be cranking out albums, getting involved in so many projects, putting on shows like GL here, and so many others in the last 30 years? What would Rhoads Mob look like? Would Ozzy have kept him or still rotated him out like so many other players. Too easy to say the Ozz rotated people out because of Rhoads. Not really a simple answer. Do have to admit, though. Losing someone does elevate their status. Ignores the very reality of a musician playing themselves into obscurity. Lynch has avoided that. If by no other means, sheer brute force, relentlessly forging his talent forward, expanding, getting better in ways none of us lifelong fans would have dreamed or dare to think of. WS Reimagined was one of the genre's coolest releases. This coming from a 52 year old, 40 year veteran of hair metal and huge fan of shredders.

Can't quite put a finger on it, but the singer is definitely channeling another singer who took over and made famous songs his own. Gotta hand it to him. Wasn't constrained or even tempted to fit the mold of the original, with no fear delivered them in his own style. Don will always be the man, but this guy's definitely bringing a refreshing and much needed new take to a metal resurgence we're due for.

I wish George would concentrate on LM 75% more then the other 27+ bands or albums he plays on. Consistency is a wonderful thing for longevity, and the guy still is better then half the other players out there. But the short tours, lineup changes make him hard as hell to follow.

Wash out your dirty mouth. lol WS will always be in the pantheon of great metal albums. The second album was equally great. But few debut albums have brought the goods, delivered hard on so many levels, stood the test of time, been so highly revered by every fan. All I Want / Hell's Child / She's Evil But She's Mine will forever go down as one of the most bad a$$ trio of songs ever recorded.
