I was just recommending one of your videos today to a guy in Turkey. Glad to see you making more videos. Cool experiment with the sails.

hi ... interesting. Been thinking about this. Do the sails need to be able to catch the wind and form a curve against it as it "tacks" or "gibes" ? If you can get away with a stiff plastic, then you woudnt get any wear and tear on the nylon sheets. I think maybe this will start to degrade quite quick... pos? i like its lightweight approach, may be good for a 12v / 5v camping set up

Runs well and a nice design. Need to replace my traditional 3 arm turbine and this one is well worth a try out :)

If you're looking for a simple design as an alternative to Lenz, check out Miller Rotors. Old Miller lived in my home town and wrote lots of articles, but died before ever making them commercial. Two flat plates, with a gap to adjust torque/speed. All data is empirical and could use proper analysis...

I know where you got your design from: The Cub Scout Wolf Pack manual.
