Immersive artist and artistic director, Mélanie Courtinat explores video games in her practice, a medium whose limits she is constantly pushing.
The Parisian has exhibited her work all over the world and has collaborated with numerous brands, notably in the world of luxury goods: LVMH, Cartier, Chanel, and Jean-Paul Gaultier.
Mélanie collaborates with them to create tailor-made universes and unique immersive experiences that allow brand communication to take on a whole new dimension.
We can also mention her recent collaboration with the group Agar Agar, for whom she co-directed the video clip for "Trouble", which features a video game character who tries in vain to escape from the virtual universe in which he is.
In parallel, Mélanie teaches video game theory at the Ecole cantonale d'art de Lausanne and regularly holds conferences on the subject.
