Hi Adam! Another fun little piece of trivia about H&H is that the owner herself would feed the Alman Brothers and they promised her that if they got famous they would come back and make it right! They did and actually took her on tour with them and she was their tour cook for a little bit! I actually got to meet her once at there several years ago! She was very nice and the food was amazing.

Hey Adam this is my hometown. 😁 I lived downtown for 7 years and got to see 42 be filmed there and need for speed. Lil Richard house was actually moved to that location. Bingo Long and Traveling Allstars was filmed here also. Alot of buildings and history is being restored due to New Town Macon and our college Mercer. Downtown has came a long way and its only getting better. Hope you can make it back soon. Kudos to Josh and Caleb. My old school mates 😄.

There are lots of musician photos on the walls. Walked to the Otis Redding Foundation Museum. They charge $5 now. Missed old Capricorn office. Did visit the Capricorn Museum that had a collection of memorabilia and listening stations with all of Capricorn’s recordings. Walked to the Tic Toc Club where Little Richard and Otis Redding played in their early days. The Macon Visitor Center has some good displays. According to them the Otis Redding statue is still in storage. Missed Little Richard’s house, but would go back. The Big House is awesome and jam-packed Allman Bros Band memorabilia, instruments, garb… definitely worth a return visit when it’s open. And it was twice as warm this February day- 80° instead of 40°
