I just threw a 1-way valve on mine and never had this issue since. But great info. RW is a rip off. He claims his stuff is better but he just gets stuff off Amazon and slaps his sticker on it.

Been watching you'r content for a while now and learning more about my Gen 1 150cc Maddog , Last night I removed the Makuni vacuum pump , Rolling Wrench is way to pricey on all his stuff and i wont order from them. but thanks to you my Maddog is running better than ever. thank you so much and keep up the great work i really apricate it .

I love the idea of a hidden switch also. Someone steals the bike they get down the road as far as the carburetor bowl full will take them. Too funny when it stops running and the owner is beating someone's ass!

Wanted to pass on some info on the pump. The ideal situation would be to have a return system that send back excess fuel to the tank. This would be hard to do without performing major surgery or adding a lot of extra pieces. When the float bowl is full your pump is dead heading against the float needle. On pumps this can be bad cause it will make seals fail and add extra heat. I assume the pump you have is a canned motor pump, which means no traditional seal. Only issue you may have is a little excess heat and possible premature failure of the pump. However, with as cheap as they are that’s not a big deal. In the end no comment to change just wanted to pass this info along. Hope you don’t mind the long winded explanation.

My summer semester is finally done and the first thing on the list is getting the chuckus on the road again. I already have under-glow wired into my tail lights, could I still branch another wire off that and run it to the pump? or should I find another spot?

Soon as I heard it was being tested in a Floridian meth lab, I subscribed 👍

Do you have experience using an electric fuel pump on a pwk carb? Mine overflows with a 3-6 psi pump
@grudzien9784
Oh I’m going to install it on a predator 212 in my sons go kart.
@ironhead320
You got the fuel filter backwards
@dbrhdwk1239
That's a great video. A four-cylinder motorcycle pure fuel pump costs $250 and I'm going to install an electric fuel pump.
@frednetherlands887
Nice!
@ZCRAIZED1
It would be nice to find a pressure switch that could be adjusted to the pressure you want. That way the pumps doesnt have to run all the time. Get up to pressure and shut off. I'm guessing air in the bowl could be an issue.
@grudzien9784
Hey brother AWESOME video
@jeffkrauss5582
Run a one way check valve and two pumps inline and that helps with fuel to carb
@baxdesign
Good vid; Can I assume that has been working fine for the 5 months since it was installed, eg no flooding, overflowing, etc issues?
@christophersherratt7299
Petrol electric pumps all perish
@ZCRAIZED1
Do you not care for the slide type of carburetor? I see that one has a diaphragm type. I'm sure you know far more than I do so I figured I would ask. Are the slide type not good? I always thought they werre the best option.
@christophersherratt7299
One that supplies clean water for windows
@grudzien9784
Subscribed. I love shit like this :)) I’m getting a 12v pump as well. I’m glad I didn’t get the pulse one, cuz they are shit and cost about the same.
