Location: 335 East 95th Street
This was caused by a mishap with an oil delivery. The basement had undergone a renovation and the oil tank had been moved to another area of the basement. When the tanker began filling the building with over 300 Gallons of oil, it hooked up to the wrong pipe. The oil ran down the pipe which had no tank connected to it and flowed freely into the basemen. The tanker finished its delivery and left. Soon after, callers reported a strong odor of gas, which resulted in the following responses:
