Handy trick. I've been just using my band saw to make triangular knobs and such, but I like these. I usually just use CA glue to hold a regular nut sunk into the top of the knob, but I think my next ones will be made of some really hard wood (I have a slab of Ipe, for example), and I'll use my tap & die set to thread the wood itself.

I love your videos and learn something from each one. It looks like you might need to make some longer hold downs for the drill press, would have been useful when drilling in those smaller pieces where you were only able to hold one side. Hello Thank you for a nice comment The triangle star knob jig has a video introduction. But the design of the hex star shaped knob jig is mine, maybe! You have to do a few upgrades. Thank you See you

Hello teacher, I really liked the video, the truth is that it would not have occurred to me to make such a template, whenever it is needed we will have them at hand. I am also interested in the accessory you use with the drill, which I see that the wood wears a lot, I could make a video with those little great ideas, greetings and thank you very much.
