This recipe is very special because it uses kecombrang, making the chili taste more delicious and aromatic, suitable to be served with warm rice with the family. ✅ Recipe for Kecombrang Tempe and Anchovy Sambal
1. Tempeh
2. Anchovies 200 grams
3. Combrang
4. 15 curly red chilies
5. 8 pieces of cayenne pepper
6. 4 lime leaves
7. Red onion 10 cloves
8. Garlic 4 cloves
9. Salt and seasoning
10. Tomato 1 piece
(Note: the amount of spiciness is according to taste, if you don't want it spicy, you don't need to use cayenne pepper)
✅ How to Make Tempeh and Anchovy Kecombrang Sambal
1. Cut the tempeh into cubes, then fry in hot oil until brown, then remove and drain
2. Fry the anchovies until brown, then remove and drain
3. Thinly slice the combrang and discard the stems
4. Thinly slice the lime leaves with the bones removed
5. Puree the curly red chilies, cayenne peppers, tomatoes, shallots and garlic then sauté using the oil used to fry the anchovies
6. Add the chopped combrang and lime leaves then saute until cooked
7. Add the tempeh and anchovies then stir until evenly mixed with the kecombrang sauce
8. Tempe kecombrang and anchovy chili sauce is ready to be served with warm rice
