Nice! Thanks for these vids, it's a big help for my Mandalorian build! For the visor, I recommend Kalevala visors. They have lots of colors. They're also reflective, so nobody can see your eyes!

I use tin-snips to cut my visors, they are made for cutting thin metal and it works really well!

Nice to see the tabs. Removes a lot of worry. Have you ever tried using the print bed as a hot plate to make the visor easier to shape?

The camo paint looks very cool, I am still waiting for my printer to arrive in the mail, shipping is a bit delayed. I am thinking I am going to make one of the Asohka helmets from season 7 of CW, very excited to start 3d printing and making helmets. I would like to make full armor but that is going to be a long project if I go through with it

I saw that umbra arc trooper helmet on the ground in the grass out side when you were sanding the helmet. I was worried that they were out of stock and would never return. I have almost earned $120 doing yard work so I can purchase that umbra helmet. I am so excited!

You could use a Dremel with a cut off wheel with a little drum sander they were excellent For cutting out hearts especially thick plastic like your visor.

oh wow i used the same visor when i did mine haha! What i did was I flattened it by putting it in the oven on a cookie sheet on both sides and put a brick ontop to hold it down. it took a while but eventually it got flat.

I've printed many helmets and for some reason I'm always cheap about the amount of spot putty I use. I really need to follow your lead here and just basically dedicate a tube to a helmet. I'm always trying to do things cheaper and it usually bites me in the end. I use a lot of primer and putty is cheaper than primer so it makes sense to go heavier on the putty to save primer later.

With the camo ( it all depends on the colors) it’s better to start with your darker colors and do less of the light colors. So for that woodland camo it probably would’ve been easier to use a dark color first instead of the tan, because with the light colors you don’t want much of it. But the camo looks really really good though! I definitely like it a lot

Could you have used the soldering iron to melt out the visor shape, like the Damaged Wolffe helmet? Really like this helmet tho, looks super slick. Ever considered/done a 212th helmet? They have a nice paint job and the orange is nice.
