Boy if I had all that black carbon around me my white shirt wouldn’t look like yours does!! Excellent way to finish anything, I’ll wear black when I try it

Jimmy...I just ordered this same collet from your web site this morning...I'm really looking forward to adding it to my Oneway Coring/Bowl saving system. Thank you for the nice demo though I would recommend you identifying the size of the forstner and tenon size for the collet. Again...thanks, John

Love your videos, have you ever thought of turning offset for handle, I have made a few handles offset fit my hand better, just a thought

Hi Jimmy, at the end of this vid, you simply inserted the QR chuck into the drilled hole - this does not seem very strong. In a real tool do you add epoxy? Cheers.

John horsfall Hi mate , I have had one for a year now in order to review it. A years worth of students have worked on it aswell as night class student and I have had no bother with it. For the money it's up there with the great value for money lathes. I would purchase one. Jimmy

For the scorching, could you place the ring or tape off the tenon to help prevent burning that area?

The wood appears to be either Ash or Hickory. Is that right? Is the scorching functional or just cosmetic? Could you perform the scorching with the lathe turning at low speed? (My lathe does not turn well by hand.)

Glen Crandall Hi mate , I feel that the scorching gives me a better grip as the grain is pronounced instead of smooth on the handle. The wood was Ash. Yes it will burn at a slow speed , the slower the better ! Jimmy

Glen, if you watch Jimmys other video you can bling up the handle with gilt cream after scorching. I’ve done it and it looks and feels great. 👍🏻
