This was reuploaded because I made a mistake and claimed that there was a charge separation in methyl iodide due to electronegativity.
Today we are making some anisole! Anisole itself doesn't have many direct applications, and it's mostly used as a precursor to perfumes and pharmaceuticals.
I plan on using anisole to make anethole, which is 13x sweeter than regular sugar.
