Had this addon since 2.0 version and have used it for creating pie menus for a lot of my most used functions all in one pie menu. Well worth the $15 I’ve got some great use out of it. Been learning python on the side so it will be even better for this addon.

Thank you for this tutorial video! I was wondering what the workflow for an addon that applied two modifiers to an object in Blender would look like? After reading the documentation for Serpens 3, It said operators should be avoided if possible. Instead, property functions should be used. I haven't been able to find any videos on property functions in Serpens 3, especially in the scenario of creating an addon that applies two modifiers to an object. Any help would be appreciated.

@Olav3d please how do I add an error popup. Such that if I click on a button when I am not supposed to, instead of the generic blender error (e.g line 27 error blah blah blah) that it shows, I will simply get a customized error popup??

Is there an option to visually script everything rather than just the buttons and panels? For example is there a node for each api function and basic python commands such as loops etc

Addon dev here, yes you can do most things you can with the api. UI is certainly where Serpens saves a lot of time but you can also use it for functionality

@@joshuaKnauber could actually be better than geometry nodes. For me this is what geometry nodes should have been. Very low level control with the ability to rebuild modifiers. Your system even has the ability to have script nodes like Houdini! And they're automatically HDA's due to them being saveable addons. Really nice. Have you been able to get it multithreaded?

So say for the first Burton to random generate the cubes, you also wanted to add a subdivision modifier to the cubes, I know how you could do that, but how would you reference the code to make another button so you can change the sub-d level. So basically it adds a sub-d modifier to the cubes, defaulted to level 3, with a button that can change the sub-d resolution
