Hi Friends, first, thank you so much for wishing me a happy birthday! It was so nice of you, I really appreciate it from the bottom of my heart.
Today, I show you how to make "Torshi Liteh", (ترشی لیته) which is a type of "Persian Pickled Vegetable", similar to Kimchi, but at the same time, very different in terms of flavor.
You probably have noticed it as a condiment I serve with my dishes, and it often accompanies many Iranian dishes. The flavor takes some getting used to, but, I think you will really like it if you try it. You can drop half a teaspoon (or however much you like) into some soups when serving, or serve it on the side of rice and stew dishes or add a little on some bread. It has a unique flavor and texture and I'm sure vegans will love it as well.
Thanks for watching and see you soon my friends.
