Jamie your method has worked wonders for my swing. It’s one of the most simplified approaches I’ve ever tried. My power numbers increased so much this year, and I am hitting balls easily over 100 mph everyday at college.

The takeaway is the easiest with the inner core muscles in your stomach, and the downswing is initiating easily with the outside core muscles

Jose Ramirez gets the most of his body into the swing of any current guy I have watched. The dude is probably 5'8" 180 hitting 40 bombs.

He's 5'9 and a bit thicker than that. Maybe 195. Dude has huge legs. That said, your point stands and I'd love to see Jaime break him down for us.

Was watching fall touring ball today all age groups walk Ed to soft toss hitting nets watching 13 and under kids sitting soft toss and to my surprise a girl was on the team hitting left handed last one to hit and the coach kept stopping and trying to explain what she was doing wrong she was very lead arm dominant loaded her hands well was very well connected when they were heading up to begin playing by then I was kinda upset and I approached the coach and kindly told him you need to leave her swing alone it's the best on your team ....he looked surprised told him concentrated on her hip rotation not the swing and the other coach said see I told you the exact same thing for weeks now!!

Pretty sure the compression against the chest thing is a red herring for you. Watch the squash players - there is a better reason the lead arm hangs back. It doesn’t have to be concurrent with a forward move into said arm.
