Only if he could. He tried with sweet dreams it sucked terribly. He's way washed up now. Love him. This album was his prime genius but he was in love then it got shattered. The acoustic, unfiltered version of the vocals really showcases Manson's unique gravel and whispers...its like his soul is trying to escape his body and he's internally struggling to keep it there....that's such a unique but iconic sound and this remix just highlights it even more...

When those months come around when my depression really kicks in I listen to this song and it makes me feel worse but at the same time it kind of cleanses me not because it makes me see that I'm not the only person who feels this way but because it makes me realize that drugs won't save me whether they will make me numb, dumb or kill me its a very difficult feeling to explain.

Marilyn Manson will never truly know the lasting effect his music has had on my life. Ive met him a few times after shows and once we talked for bout 4 hours we lost track of time (he left a hour late for his next show). You ever just meet a person who you just know what they been through cause you been there done that. I'm a recovering addict of a few things and he was the 1st person not to pass judgement and I just knew form 30 mins. into convo that he was the 1st person since addiction to really get me..Love this version of the song better than the original .

Honestly, the whole album was relevant to my life (Mechanical Animals). Between struggling with acceptance from others, or substance abuse... even being released from a toxic relationship. I can identify with this album more than any of his others. Favorite song from this album is the Speed of Pain.

Manson has been my go to since the 90's. I've been suicidal for the last 23 years. Every day feeling like im worse off than the next, promising myself tonight will be the end. Whenever I pick up any manson creation, be it art or music I instantly feel better, and even worse. The feeling is hard to explain, but I know to this day, if I pick up a razor or a rope, my next move is KZitem manson videos cause that'll cause me to drop anything and just blend with the music. I accredit marilyn Manson with saving my life, time and time again.
