The most successful female tennis player in history, Martina Navratilova amassed an unmatched number of professional records over the course of a career that spanned an amazing four decades. She won 59 Grand Slam titles, including a record 9 Wimbledon crowns, and in 2006, on the verge of turning 50, became the oldest player ever to hoist such a trophy, taking the mixed doubles at the US Open alongside Bob Bryan. Named one of Sports Illustrated's "Top 40 Athletes of All Time," Navratilova is still in phenomenal shape. In a rare Chicago appearance, one of the world's true greats, a champion on and courageous activist off the court, will talk about how the human athletic animal can change-and adapt-over time.
Navratilova is joined in conversation by PBS news correspondent and triathlete Elizabeth Brackett.
