A very impressive powerful version of The Endless sleep. Great work on this one being that it's a dark & paranoid tune.

I have an old Hank Jr album with this song on it and a teenage Hank Jr's version is good as well!

Marty manages to mimic Jody's growl pretty well here. Great cover. Love Jody and love Marty. The original song lyrics did not have a happy ending. Jody had to change the song because the record company felt it was too dark. It was the pappa of teen tragedy songs though.

The very best version is by another Marty - Marty Wilde. Better than this, and better than the original. Don't argue the point, I'm right. 😊
