- Peel and boil 1/2 pound of Yukon gold (or any yellow waxy potatoes) for 15 minutes - Mashed them in a bowl and combine them with 1/4 cup of corn starch, 2 teaspoons of onion salt, and two teaspoons of garlic powder - When they are no longer hot, place the potatoes in a ziploc bag and snip the tip - Squeeze out a spiral shape on a piece of parchment paper - Heat 2 cups of cooking oil to 375 degrees F - Add the potato and cook for 2 minutes - Flip the potato over and cook for another 2 minutes - Season with salt and enjoy
