St. George's sells a nice little 200 ml bottle. You can also find Absinthe in 50ml bottles in some places.

@@paulcyberpaul typically a cocktail comprised of Juices, Sugars and Spirits are shaken while ones which consist of spirits only, such as a martini, are stirred. There are so many reasons why I could write a long blog post about it

I believe he said use Blanc Vermouth so I think Dolin is just his preferred brand but I'm not sure as I am not too well versed in Vermouth.

How about making this with Americano Cocchi as blanc vermouth? Even because i think it's basically a blanc vermouth :-) probably Lillet Blanc could work as well

Cocchi Americano contains quinine which would be a poor sub for Blanc Vermouth. Not that it wouldn’t work, it would probably be very good but not really a viable sub to equate the same flavor. Does that make sense?

Anyway, to me, it would be like using Punt e Mes instead of classic sweet vermouth: it's not exactly the same, but a Manhattan made with it is simply fantastic. Just a little before you responded, i tried to make the Turf Club using Americano Cocchi, on your recipe, and you know what? It was so good! :-)

We usually use Pernod Superior (not the pastis) but you can use any absinthe you like

Lillet would work but it is much different and a lot sweeter than blanc vermouth...but it would work
