This is one of the many books that I recommended to a subscriber that had asked me for some resources to review probability. It had everything, or just about everything that he wanted in a book. It's a very good book, but it is not perfect by any means. I have no doubt that any student tasked with reading this book will be able to learn probability. The main downside to this book is that it has no solutions to the exercises. Other than that, it has pretty much everything that a student would want from a first course in probability. As far as prerequisites, Calculus III should do it. It is definitely targeted towards upper undergraduates as it does discuss some serious math such as set theory, differential equations, difference equations, etc.
